Sadly overlooked sixth effort from the great Gods of doom. With Thomas Vickstrom on vocals, replacing the thought-to-be-unreplaceable Messiah Marcolin, the band put together a less doomy, and actually more progressive effort that didn't win over their entrenched fanbase.

“There's limitless potential in a band this talented, if you ask me. They sound to my ears like a Jon Anderson-less Yes, covering Cynic's unreleased material (if any) while secretly worshipping the likes of Dream Theater.“ – musicemissions.com

New EP features the band venturing into Aeon Spoke territory. Sean Malone is back on bass and his percolating bass lines add that fusion element that ties it all into the overall Cynic sound. Having said that don't expect the technicality of Focus.
