"Joel Hoekstra doesn’t need any further introduction, I guess. The axe-slinger is a long-time ace and productive force in melodic rock and metal, gradually shooting root the last 2 decades.
"Lion Music has consistently been putting out excellent instrumental rock and metal CDs. So I was a little surprised to receive Metal Majesty's new CD 2005. The second surprise was in the fact that although Metal Majesty's roots are in Metal, this is far from a Metal CD.
"Formed some eight years ago by Finnish singer and actress Netta Laurenne as covers band, Run For Cover, the band quickly changed their name to Smackbound having written original material. Smackbound would go on to release several YouTube singles before dropping their debut 20/20 in 2020.
