"Albatros from Hagen played sophisticated art rock with long tracks, similar to Grobschnitt, who came from the same town. 'Garden Of Eden' was their only LP pressed in an edition of 500 copies at the time.

"This album would be very representative of the type of oddball music still pervasive in 1971, a time away from even wilder musical trips to come , a rawer , more psychedelic Woodstock era sound (lots of groove , baby) that would be played in countless underground European clubs (some not even s

"Epidaurus' debut album enjoys a lost-gem minor classic reputation and it is little wonder why, because this album represents a bit the later 70's German take-over of symphonic rock, once most of the English bands had completely run out of steam.

"Epidermis were founded in Idstein, Germany, in 1971. They played some complex and sophisticated rock music, often compared with Gentle Giant, Yes and the Canterbury scene. 'June 1975' has not been released on any physical format back then, and has been made available for the first time.

"In the 70s there were lots of clones of Yes, King Crimson, ELP, and others. But Gentle Giant? Can't think of too many. There was Etcetera from Quebec who were very good but perhaps the best of them all was Epidermis and their 1977 album "Genius Of Original Force".

Second album from this German progressive rock band. It was recorded sometime after Fading Beauty as the band found themselves on the up and coming Sky label. The music had a slightly harder edge but the symphonic elements were still present.

We were first to release this magnificent album on CD but GoD subsequently reissued it (I presume from the master tapes). This new vinyl pressing from GoD includes a 40 page insert. That's a lot of info!

"Great little record!
For the start, I must say it's a bit incoherent. However, although it's distancing this record from a masterpiece status, it's also giving it quite a dose of charm.$28.00 -
Lightshine was one of many "one and done" bands that have proliferated the prog scene around the world. Germany certainly was full of them and the Garden Of Delights label seems to excel at finding them. Lightshine cut their sole album in 1976.

The first album from this interesting German band. If you read the bio of the band you can tell that Missus Beastly were a bit of a disorganized mess. They went through constant lineup changes throughout their history, and there were changes in sound as well.

"Virus' debut is one of those albums that perfectly defines the Krautrock genre as we know it today. It's a mix of psychedelic, hard rock, and that secret ingredient, one that is only whispered about in the dark halls of the murky and mysterious underground.
