"Greek heavy psych trio Naxatras have steadily built themselves a comfortable base within their genre over the course of two albums, with album number III cementing that place.

We were impressed enough with this Greek trio's new album enough to offer their back catalogue as well. This is the epitome of the stoner rock sound - strong wiffs of the 70s in the air here. Pure psychedelic guitar driven space rock that wanders down a similar path as The Spacelords.

All analogue and proud of it! Naxatras II picks up right where their debut left off.

The band's fourth album finds them evolving. From the triple fold out cover you immediately know something was different. They have added a fourth member - a keyboardist - and with his presence the band has shifted their sound slightly into a more traditional space rock sound.

Is Nospūn the best band you've never heard of? Probably unless you've been paying attention to all the year end best of 2023 lists. This Georgia based band released their album back in May 2023 digitally and with some gentle arm twisting from the masses they have finally pressed CDs.

"Frank Us and his studio friends take us on another journey into their music world with their fifth album. From ballads and pop/rock tunes to complex progressive epics and an over 12-minute space opera, these top musicians once again showcase their skills.

Logos had been around at the turn of the century but disbanded. They released L'enigma Della Vita in 2014 and we've been a fan since. While the band seems to be pigeonholed into the "Rock Progressivo Italiano" category I hear a spacier side that reminds a bit of Pink Floyd and Eloy in places.

Time and time again, Italy's The Watch prove they are the pre-eminent Genesis influenced band going today. Vocalist Simone Rosetti sounds just like Peter Gabriel and the band's instrumentation carefully follows the mid-70s sound. Its all original music but definitely has Genesis in its DNA.

"I think this is the best thing they've done since "Vacuum". Now it's not as good as that particular album, but I do think it's worth 4 stars unlike their other two studio albums "Ghost" and "Primitive" both of which I gave 3 stars to respectively.$18.00
