Actually one of the better LMP releases of late. Australian power metal with a good solid dose of melody and strong vocals recalls bands like Queensryche (back in the day) and even Jag Panzer. A good one worth checking out.

It seems to me that this is a power metal band that doesn't get enough attention - probably because they are based out of Australia. The music has plenty of that galloping speed element (which I could use less off) but great vocals and melody (which I can never get enough of).

Fourth album from this Oz-based power metal band. Black Majesty's sound has developed closer to Iron Maiden and Judas Priest with some traces of prime Tate Queensyrche. You like some gallop in your music?

Depending on your point of view of course, this German power metal band has gotten better with age. Somewhere along the line vocalist Hansi Kursch developed his voice and the band went for a more expansive - almost orchestral - sound. Still heavy as hell.

It's been many years since Jack Bruce and Robin Trower worked together. In the 80s they made two great albums under the BLT moniker with Bill Lordan. Well it's been a long time coming but well worth the wait. I haven't heard Robin play with this much intensity since Caravan of Dreams.

Second album from this German band, recorded in 1977, receives its first ever CD release with bonus material. Bullfrog was a hard rock band with progressive touches very much in the style of Uriah Heep and Deep Purple.

Sadly overlooked sixth effort from the great Gods of doom. With Thomas Vickstrom on vocals, replacing the thought-to-be-unreplaceable Messiah Marcolin, the band put together a less doomy, and actually more progressive effort that didn't win over their entrenched fanbase.

“There's limitless potential in a band this talented, if you ask me. They sound to my ears like a Jon Anderson-less Yes, covering Cynic's unreleased material (if any) while secretly worshipping the likes of Dream Theater.“ – musicemissions.com

Crazy things are going on. Dragonforce is selling like mad and now here is yet another traditional power metal band getting national attention. Cellador are a US band that creates music that harkens back to 80s Iron Maiden. It's a simple formula that seems to be working...again.
