"American power metal's last hope returns with a monumentally complex, full-octane fan-boy-driven concept album. Fear not, the pummeling thrash chords of old still remain, while Paul Stanley's -- er, Matt Barlow's -- vocals still crackle with molten energy and untapped emotional well.

Third album from this Greek melodic metal band. Like so many of the releases on LMP, these guys are pretty much indistinguishable from the next one. Nothing awful but nothing particularly wonderful either. OK move along...

Untamed is the second album from the Swedish sextet Ill Wicker. The band falls into the acid folk category and they wear that honor with pride. They are admittedly heavily influenced by Comus and you can certainly hear some Incredible String Band creeping into their sound.

"It may sound trite, but INVIDIA is truly a brotherhood. Each member of this brotherhood has a story that reflects the quote above. When they came together to make AS THE SUN SLEEPS, they knew just what they didn’t want and how far they were willing to go to make it work on their terms.
