Instrumental progressive rock that has some nice spaceiness in part. Once again guitarist Markus Venehsalo shines. This guys playing is absolutely stellar and pulls the rest of the band along with him. Tasty keyboards and Tatu Back's bass work is outstanding as well.

From the label that brought you Ossi Maristo and Jukka Haavisto comes something with a bit of a different flavor but should appeal to you. Mavon Safia is a heavy progressive instrumental band led by guitarist Markus Venehsalo. Is it progressive metal? Yes. Progressive rock? Yes? Fusion?
