First of three albums cut by this Norwegian prog band. Its a mix of sounds. You get elements of prog, west coast psych, and jazz rock. Some nice organ breaks and there are some oddball tracks. Apparently the band had a a big hit in Norway called "People In Motion".

One of the all time great psych monsters back in print. The Dream was a one and one band from Norway. They recorded this one album in 1967. One of the primary reasons this album is so desireable is that the lead guitarist is none other than Terje Rypdal!

I always assumed that the front and back covers were printed incorrectly. What looks like the back cover is actually the front and the back cover would have made for a great front. Someone goofed at the printing plant. Mellotron drenched prog from Norway.

"The eighties threshold appeared in assorted ways before the eyes of progressive rock world, some say (count me in those stats) that was the fatidic decade, the one that came along with the vicious era of musical impertinencies and disarray for the genre and its multiple variations translated in

I have to admit I was completely unfamiliar with Mr. Nilssen and his world of dreams. This one is pretty high on the Obscure-O-Meter. Solo album from the future guitarist of the Norwegian band Solaris (not the Hungarian band). This is symphonic prog but on the lighter side.

Thule had quite an influence on the Scandinavian resurgence of progressive rock in the 90s. "Natt" has a dark sound with a bit of spacieness that reminds of Animals era Pink Floyd but perhaps heavier. Vocals are sung in native Norwegian but who cares!

Reissue of the second album from this fine symphonic prog band from Norway. There were actually two versions of this album. This is the original 1981 recording. About a decade later the band re-recorded it with English lyrics. If you are a Camel fan you'll definitely dig this one.

After the Blow Out album, Norwegian keyboardist Håkon Graf (ex-Ruphus) hooked up with some of Sweden's top jazz/jazz rock players and formed Hawk On Flight. Guitarist Ulf Wakenius shines through out but this is also quite a showcase for Graf.

I'm not sure what the reviewers over at ProgArchives were smoking when they listened to Janus. This is Aunt Mary's best album and finds them coming up with the perfect balance of hard rock and prog.

Aunt Mary's second album finds them moving more into the hard rock realm although there is still progressive elements. Blazing guitarwork and one that has always been highly collectible.

""Self-titled" album from the norvegian band Aunt Mary may be considered as one of the first (and, possibly, the best) progressive rock product from this country. Eleven tracks present an interesting mixture of psychedelic, blues and jazz with some prog tendencies.

Moose Loose was a legendary Norwegian jazz rock/fusion band that cut two fantastic albums in the mid-70s. Until now no one has been able to crack the code to reissue the albums but a Norwegian reissue label got it done - and sourced it from the original master tapes.

Overlooked Norwegian symphonic prog from the one man band who went by the name Alf Emil Eik. I guess 1977 wasn't the best of times to be releasing prog albums.
